The Challenge
Although leading technology solutions Consumer Health Connections had a product vision and secure investors, they came across product development issues with velocity, quality, and stability. They needed help developing a product demo that could be shown to clients and sell as a project to large companies within the workers' compensation market.
Our Solution
As a team we delivered a stable product collaboratively and quickly. By being able to leverage disruptive technologies, we were able to help the client refocus, establish a refined product backlog, and develop the product using continuous integration.

Results lead to impact
The first versions of the product were launched within four months of partnering with nvisia. Product sales have been strong, enabling additional investment and market expansion.
Tactical assessment
Step one was to enlist our assistance and ensure that critical, fast approaching deadlines would be met. This meant we needed to do a one-week deep dive assessment to see how the team was tracking. This dive included, getting the development team's perspective, observing the process, reviewing code and identifying the needs in a MVP.
Practices implemented included
The product development process is critical to delivering high-quality, innovative software- but it is important to remember that it is a balance. Too heavy of a process and the timelines will end up dragging, while not enough process leaves the team wondering what to do next. The practices implemented includes bi-weekly software demos, highly collaborative team interactions based in agile/scrum, automated testing and quality measures, project management and solution design techniques, and ongoing management of the requested scope to the schedule and budget.
Agile delivery
Together we sprinted towards their commercial software product release. Using both agile techniques and connected delivery extensions, the team was able to create a stable demo for the client's sales team to showcase. Within 10 weeks the product was ready for its beta launch.
